The new user interface allows for all editors to exist within a single window. The placement and layout of the editors can be controlled by dragging and dropping them into your preferred position. Editors can be easily placed side by side or tabbed on top of each other. Using the save and restore session feature, the layouts will be preserved for the next program use. Editors can also be dragged out to form new separate windows.

Syntax Highlighted Text Editors
A suite of text editors are now available within the application. Each editor has appropriate syntax highlighting, the colours of which can be changed in the Options menu. All key terms in the script editor are highlighted, along with command and function names. A list of available commands and functions will be suggested as you type. A Verilog editor is included for versions that have the Verilog compiler. Syntax highlighting is available for supported Verilog-A and Verilog-HDL functions.
Directory Viewer
The new directory viewer allows easy navigation of files related to SIMetrix and SIMetrix/SIMPLIS.
Dark UI Style
The user interface can be swapped between standard and dark styling.
