Licensing
SIMetrix and SIMetrix/SIMPLIS licenses are perpetual licenses. New licenses come with 12-months maintenance that allows access to technical support and product updates released in that period.
We provide three licensing variants: Portable, LAN and WAN.

Portable
Designed for engineers who are on-the-go and need to be able to work away from license servers. The portable license is controlled by a USB key.
The software and license can be installed on many computers, but can only be run on the one that has the key plugged in. Portable licenses do not allow for remote access.

LAN
Designed for groups of engineers who need to be able to share access to SIMetrix or SIMetrix/SIMPLIS locally.
The software can be installed on many computers situated within local sites, but can only be used by your engineers simultaneously up-to the number of license seats purchased.
